Brief Bio
Jennifer Brown is a child of God who is simply overwhelmed by God’s goodness,
grace and glory. Her enthusiastic belief that the Word of God is the absolute truth
for our lives spills into her heart-felt Bible studies and her energetic presentations.
Through Hope in the Lord Women’s Ministries (based on Isaiah 40:31), Jennifer
encourages women to never lose their precious hope in Jesus and always trust
God’s perfect plans.
As a woman who used to roll her eyes and do her best to avoid “Jesus Freaks”
and “off-their-rocker Bible beaters,” Jennifer has a refreshing perspective on how
good and forgiving our God really is, and how powerfully His love can transform
both us and our lives. Her desire is to encourage women who are stuck in the
muck of everyday life to look up and to not only see the promises of God, but also
claim them as their own.
Jennifer’s recent Bible study on the Book of Job has been noted by Christianity
Today editor JoHannah Reardon as “a great study” and adapted for publication
through Christianity Today. The original version, “Turning Your Heart to God: A
Journey of Hope through the Book of Job,” is available through Hope in the Lord
Women’s Ministries, www.hopeintheLord.org.
Jennifer is married and has two children.
A Bit More
In just a few years of speaking, Jennifer has become a sought-after presenter for
women’s groups and retreats in Iowa and Nebraska, promoted by word of mouth.
Evaluations reveal that audiences appreciate her ability to relate in a real, open,
and honest way while enthusiastically encouraging them to trust God, turn their
life over to Christ, and live by the Word of God. They are moved by her deep
passion and enthusiasm for teaching God’s Word as the only truth for our lives.
Jennifer is most pleased by the number of women who indicate on their
evaluations that they are encouraged and that they plan to read their Bible and
pray.
Jennifer’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s
degree in soil science that honed her research and analytical skills, a career in
public relations that taught her marketing and the value of words, a business in
conference-planning that sharpened her promotional and organizational abilities,
and, most importantly, a life changed by the Lord that gave her something worth
writing and speaking about.
The Bottom Line
Because of God’s grace and call, Jennifer’s heart cries out to encourage other
women to know and trust the Lord. Her deep passion to encourage women
through the Word of God is evident in all her presentations.
She speaks because it is her passion; she is blessed because it is her joy.
