| If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:7-8 |
| Why Study the Bible? The Bible is a personal letter to you, from God. When you read and study it, you are talking with God. When you learn who God is, you learn who you are. You find God's perfect plan for your life and rest in Him, even when life is rough. You find the power of God’s plan of salvation for you to have eternal life. The Bible isn’t just another book on a dusty shelf, even if that is where yours has been. The Bible contains the living and active Word of God (Hebrews 4:12). It is from God and entirely useful (2 Timothy 3:16). It is the light that guides us (Psalm 119:105). It is eternal, never-ending, and, just like God Himself, it never changes (Matthew 24:35). It is the truth (John 17:17). |

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 |
