The People of Hope in the Lord Ministries
Cindy Buntin is a writer for Hope in the Lord Ministries who also does editing and
one-on-one discipleship for the ministry. Cindy has a great love for the Lord and is
passionate about studying the Bible and applying God’s truths to her life. She hopes to
point others to Jesus through her own experiences with Him.

Cindy is a former school teacher and still enjoys giving piano lessons in her spare time.
She is an active member of Bible Study Fellowship and enjoys playing the piano for
BSF each week. She has also held leadership positions in her local MOPS (Mothers of
Preschoolers) group. Cindy loves spending time with her husband and two precious
children.

When asked the question, "What is your greatest God-centered passion?" she
answers, "I am most passionate about sharing Christ and His Word with others. I am
amazed by the power of God to change lives through His Word, and want to share with
others God’s awesome power to transform their lives."
Jennifer Brown is a child of God who is simply overwhelmed by God’s goodness,
saving grace, and glory. Her enthusiastic belief that the Word of God is the absolute
truth for our lives spills into her heart-felt Bible studies and her energetic presentations.
Jennifer founded Hope in the Lord ministries to encourage women to never lose their
precious hope in Jesus and always trust God’s perfect ways. Jennifer and her husband,
Jim, live in Nebraska with their two sweet children and a varied assortment of pets.

When asked the question, "What is your greatest God-centered passion?" she
answers, "To encourage women who are stuck in the muck of life to look up and see
their Savior...to know His saving grace and deep love for them. I want them to know how
real the Lord is and how greatly their lives will be transformed when they surrender to
Him and seek Him with all their heart."

Christine Anderson is an ordinary woman with an extraordinary God.  After many
years of using worldly wisdom to “fix” herself, Christine gave her life to Jesus Christ.
She has discovered that HE is the answer to every question she’s ever had and that
freedom is found in Christ alone.  She lives in Nebraska with her husband, Charles, and
their four sons, Cody (12), Trevor (9), Zachary (4), and Garrett (2).

When asked the question, "What is your greatest God-centered passion?" she
answers, "To challenge people to go beyond learning about the Word of God and start
LIVING the Word of God. I want the Body of Christ to step-up and do the work the Lord
has given us to do. To get past a 'me-centered' approach to Bible study and to start
being the church in their local communities and throughout the world through the
sacrificial giving of their resources, their talents and their time. I am inspired by the
words of John in 1 John 3:16-18 which says, 'This is how we know what love is: Jesus
Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If
anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need, but has no pity on him,
how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue
but with actions and in truth.' "

Mary Jensen is wife to her best friend, Lee, and mother of three. She was born,
raised, and still resides in Blair, Nebraska, and has a heart for encouraging people to
use their God-given abilities to minister to others. She believes everyone’s story can be
used for God’s glory. Mary is eternally grateful that she has a God who not only meets
her where she is, but also fills the voids created by this world. Her hobbies include
being outdoors, hanging out with her family, reading the Word of God, and studying the
Bible in its original languages.

When asked, “What is your greatest God-centered passion?” Mary answers, “I have a
passion to encourage others to open the Bible and learn God’s Word for themselves.
The key to an intimate relationship with Christ is to take it to a personal level. Resist the
urge to solely believe what someone teaches you; grow your relationship with God
through personal prayer and Bible study. My heart’s desire is for others to know the
unsurpassable love of our God and believe that His grace is sufficient for all.”
Hope in the Lord Ministries
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Hope in the Lord Ministries is a culmination of many people God has used: those we have studied the Bible with
and been taught by, those who have prayed for us and with us over the years, those who have offered us
encouraging words and Godly wisdom, those who have read what we wrote and studied the Bible using our
studies. You, by being a visitor to this website, are even a part of this ministry.

It is the Lord's work in the Lord's people through His Spirit for His Glory and our salvation.
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
